Healthy Living Food

I am always searching for Healthy Living foods to add to my life. I have been eating Flatout Bread for quite some time. I learned about it when I attended a Weight Watchers meeting a couple years ago. I mean who wasn’t looking for a low calorie, high fiber bread and on weight watchers it was only 1 point. I still eat them to this day.  They make an excellent crust for a mini pizza or tortilla style for a burrito. Here is what Flatout bread is all about.

I contacted Flatout via twitter and mentioned how much I loved their bread and would love to do a review.  They were delighted to help and said they would send me some of their new Crisps to try as they were just rolling them out. I was super excited. First the bread now chips? Whoa! I couldn’t wait to get them. They arrived in about a week and I was thrilled to see 4, yes 4, flavors. Because they are so new, they aren’t even listed on their website yet so I took a picture of the nutritional facts and ingredients of the Garlic  Herb Crisps.

This again is for the Garlc  Herb crisps. They also have Four Cheese, Multi-grain, and Sea Salt. Now my husband didn’t like any of them. I honestly think he is nuts. My favorite was the Four Cheese, followed by Garlic Herb, then Multi-grain, and then Sea Salt. Now just to get a picture of what these crisps look like, they remind me of a Wheat Thin but in funky shapes and WAY more flavor and lot less calories. Even my son loves these. They are light and crunchy and come in a resealable bag to keep them fresh.  They are excellent on their own but if you were having a party they would be great served with dip. Nobody would know they are eating something healthy. I just had a serving with my Subway tonight and what a great combo that made. I think they should be in all Subway stores but they didn’t ask me that.

Please vist their site, Flatout Bread and hurry and find a store near you. They might be hard to find at the store but in my grocery store they are located next to the deli. I am telling you for anyone wanting to live a healthy life these are a must have food.
