Happy Healthy Monday

Did someone say Earth Footwear?  My ears perked up like a dog going after a bone. I LOVE my Earth Footwear and I would die for another pair. These things have helpedLemon Berry Smoothiemy severe plantar fasciitis I can’t even describe the joy my feet are in. I found a store here in town that sells them and I really want a pair of sandals for summer. See I wear orthotics in my shoes and I NEVER have been able to wear sandals or cute looking shoes. I always have to wear a tennis shoe or tie shoe of some kind. I do have my orthotics in my Earth Footwear, I am hoping without them I can still wear the sandals.

Well this week started out excellent. Logging food, drinking water and then Wed night came. Hubby and I went out for my birthday that was Thursday, because I had to bowl, and I ate so much. I did have a nice lean sirloin steak, baked potato and veg, there was just A LOT of it. Then Thursday came along and the office took me out for breakfast. Oh the pancakes, I did have SF syrup though. LOL  Then Thursday night after bowling our team always goes out for dinner. Oh the salad bar how I love thee. I ate so much during the day that I ate the salad bar and basically took home my dinner. So given all that I did not step on the scale yesterday. I didn’t want to know. So this week it’s back to logging my food, drinking my water, and throwing in some exercise.

Now in case you have missed the challenge that Mentallyinked (Kim) through at me, if I reach 115oz of water in 1 day she will video herself doing the happy dance for all of us to see. So I want to make this possible because who wouldn’t want to see that right?!?  So if you see me on twitter please remind me to drink. My highest has been I think 90 or 95 so I have been close.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) container blueberry nonfat yogurt
  • 1 1/2 cups skim milk
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 1 teaspoon powdered lemonade mix

Directions

  1. Place yogurt, milk, ice cubes, blueberries, strawberries, and lemonade mix in a blender. Pulse until smooth and creamy.

  4. You can meet the 115 ounce goal! If all of us band together, we can remind you! Also-maybe you csn set an alarm on your phone or something for every hour to drink a serving or two?
