Expert Packing Tips: Pack Like a Pro

Packing Tips

As a frequent traveler, I know how important it is to pack your suitcase efficiently. Not only does it save you time and money but also reduces the stress of traveling. Here are some packing tips on how to pack your suitcase like a pro!

Make a packing list

Before you start packing, make a list of all the items you need to pack. This will not only ensure that you don’t forget anything important but also help you pack efficiently. I do supply each person that books with BWK Travel with a packing list.

Choose the right suitcase

When it comes to choosing a suitcase, make sure it is the right size for your trip. If you are planning a short trip, a carry-on suitcase may be enough, but for a longer trip, a bigger suitcase would be more appropriate.

Roll your clothes

Rolling your clothes not only saves space but also reduces wrinkles. It also makes it easier to see what you have packed. Didn’t think this would save space, but it really does!

Use packing cubes

Packing cubes are great for organizing your clothes and accessories. They help you fit more items in your suitcase and also make it easier to find what you need. They are also great to use for your dirty clothes so they don’t touch any unused items.

Pack shoes strategically

Shoes take up a lot of space in your suitcase. Pack them in a way that maximizes space, such as stuffing socks and underwear inside them. I highly recommend one beach pair and one walking pair.

Use the inside of your shoes

The inside of your shoes is a great place to store small items like jewelry, socks, or chargers. If bringing home something breakable, it’s a great location for travel when it’s wrapped in socks.

Pack toiletries separately

Toiletries can leak and ruin your clothes. Pack them separately in a plastic bag or toiletry kit. Keep in mind that airport policy is to have them in a plastic bag for carry on luggage. They will need to be pulled out for the security checkpoint.

Don’t overpack

Resist the urge to stuff your suitcase with everything you think you might need. Remember, you can always buy things at your destination.

Packing your suitcase efficiently takes some practice, but it’s worth it in the end. With these packing tips, you’ll be able to pack like a pro and enjoy a stress-free trip. Check out our travel page for more tips and travel ideas.
