Country Crock Veggie Cookbook by Clare Crespo

The Veggie Dilemma

I know I am not the only Mom out there that has trouble getting their kids to eat their veggies. Why does it have to be so difficult. Cooper eats two vegetables, corn and carrots. Occasionally I can get him to eat green beans but not often.  When this opportunity came up I had to jump on it. I needed new and creative way to introduce new veggies to Cooper in a way he won't turn his nose at.

A Very Veggie World

What an amazing book this is. You can play and mold the veggie to shapes and designs that the kids will love. From molecular structures to stop light you kids will get a kick out of eating their veggies. All these recipes include using Country Crock spread. With a dab of Country Crock it really changes that taste for the better. I love spreading it all over good Iowa sweet corn in the summer.   I choose to make the Pasta Full of Posies recipes from Clare Crespo Cookbook.  Not only do they look awesome, too awesome maybe to even eat. I never claim to be cook and these pictures tell that tale.

The Country Crock Chronicles

Every Mom needs recipe ideas. Despite what our kids think, we are not Super Woman.  The Country Crock Chronicles will give you idea, tips, and photos of the fun and whimsical recipes in Clare's book. You can also download your very own copy.  I remember using Country Crock growing up and those commercials still are in my head.  8 our of 10 kids think veggies taste a whole lot better with a little Country Crock on it. I know I did and my family still enjoys it.

  1. I love to get recipes, and love cook books.  Thanks for the information.

  2. Christa I actually added the rest of the veggies I didn't use making the posies. Made no sense throwing them out and with the extra veggies in there is was fantastic. Don't forget you can get the cookbook FREE!!
