Van’s Natural Foods Review and Giveaway

Van’s Natural Foods has been caring about what you eat for breakfast for a half a centruy.  It all started back in the 1970s when the Van Dam family opened a swinging waffle joint in Southern California. By the late 1980s, our groovy little beachside favorite had outgrown itself.
Since then, Van’s has evolved from a single waffle restaurant to one of the country’s most beloved frozen waffle and breakfast companies—but our philosophy hasn’t changed a bit. We value artisanal quality, cooking our products in small, minimally processed batches with always-fresh ingredients. And, since we want everyone to be able to enjoy our waffles, we offer wheat/gluten free waffles along with organic, mini and our signature 8 Whole Grain varieties.

I was honored to receive free product coupons to review Van’s Natural Foods products. I will be honest here.. I have never had any of Van’s products before. I live in a smaller midwest town so finding Van’s products were challenging. They have several different products like waffles, muffin crowns, pancakes, and french toast sticks.

Waffles are a staple in my house on weekends. They are easy to fix for my son so finding a healthy waffle is such a bonus. I was able to find Van’s Natural Foods blueberry waffles. Van’s Wheat/Gluten Free Blueberry waffles are the perfect treat, made with whole grain brown rice flour and sweetened with fruit juice. I serve them with some sugar free syrup and they are outstanding. I am not one to put fresh fruit on waffles but this would be great with some strawberries or blueberries. ( Just and FYI for us Weight Watchers people, 2 waffles are 6 points)

Van’s also has a product that I was unable to find but I would love to hightlight it here. I am bummed I couldn’t find them in a local store but I do hope to buy some online to try. The Muffin Crowns looks out of this world. Artisan Triple Chocolate Muffin Crowns are prepared with delicious ingredients and rich, creamy chocolate. They’re not only delicious, but good-for-you. In 120 calories per muffin, you’ll also get 6g fiber, 3g protein and 7g whole grain. ( 3 WW points) These would make my breakfast a whole lot better.

Van’s Natural Foods is giving TWO readers coupons for FIVE free products.  That is a fantastic prize you don’t want to miss out.  This giveaway is for US Residents only and ends 10/8. Here is how to enter:
