Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil #Giveaway- Healthy Breakfast Recipe

Everyone knows I am a huge fan of Tropical Traditions. If you are looking for awesome all natural products they are the place you should check out. I have done several reviews of their products but never one as big as this.

Their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is the best out there. It has such a great flavor to it and it spruces up any healthy breakfast to start the day or a great dinner at night. Check out this previous post if you want to know some benefits of coconut oil? I am such a coconut fan but my husband isn't. So I like to try recipes that sound good that I know I can add coconut oil to. Here is fruit smoothie made with Tropical Traditions coconut oil that would make a great healthy breakfast on the go.

Coconut Fruit Smoothie

Servings: 1
Preparation Time: 10 minutes

  • 1 cup coconut milk or regular whole milk
  • 1/2-1 whole banana
  • 1/4 cup frozen fruit: berries, peaches, etc.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ground flax seeds
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ground nuts: almonds, pecans, etc
  • 1 tablespoon dry coconut (flakes, etc.)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted

Place all ingredients except coconut oil in blender and blend. Slowly pour coconut oil into blender while blending. Blend until smooth and serve.

  1. You can never have enough coconut oil in the house. I make homemade baby butt-creme out of it, use it as moisturizer…all kinds of stuff. Plus, cooking with it I never noticed a coconut taste. This is a great giveaway from an awesome company!! Thank you!!
