Mother’s Day- A Mother Daughter Bond

A daughter shares the closest bonding with her mother in the family. This is a bitter and sweet relationship that goes through several ups and downs throughout the life of a mother and daughter. Despite of all the problems, this relationship comes out as the strongest of all.

When a girl is at the age of five, she looks at her mother as an idol. Her mother is her goddess and she wishes to imitate her mother in every way. She uses her mom’s cosmetics, wears her heel to feel like her. The girl does everything to look like and imitate her mother. But, as the daughter enters her teenage, she suddenly alienates herself from her mother. She feels like her mother doesn’t understand her at all, and she starts spending more time with her other friends.

Sometime, after the girl matures, in the twenties, the girl again feels that the friend she was searching throughput her life was actually her own mother. She again gets very close to her mother and the relationship grows stronger. This is the real relationship between a mother and her daughter, very complex, yet so simple in nature.

Fights are very common between a mother and her daughter as there is a wide gap between their ages. The mother always tends to treat her daughter like a kid, which the grown up daughter may not like. However, a daughter learns to be a woman from her own mother. Even after a woman becomes a mother of her own kids, her mother won’t stop pampering her. This makes the mother-daughter relationship very special.

A common problem that usually crops up between a mother and daughter relationship, is the communication gap. You must take care to ensure that this problem never arises between you two. A mother needs to change her outlook with time and understand her daughter, and the same applies for the daughter too.
