When I started my weight loss journeys, yes that was plural, I swear I tried every bar under the sun. I got really tired of them tasting like cardboard or barely having the flavor it should. Most were dry and full of things I couldn’t pronounce. Larabar came to my rescue. These things are outstanding and all natural.

In May 2000, Lara Merriken launched LÄRABAR. After scouring the aisles of grocery stores and noting popular flavors of ice cream and cookies, she delved into her own product development. Natural foods, she believed, should be fun and enjoyable as well as good for you. With friends and family serving as focus groups, she tinkered with recipes until a consensus on yummi-ness was reached. With flavors like peanut butter and jelly to chocolate coconut chew, LARABAR is going millions strong.

I was honored to receive four fantastic flavors to review. I will admit, I have been eating LARABARS for years. These things make me think I am eating a dessert. I enjoy eating one for breakfast. I am a grab and go girl so these bars are perfect.

The flavors I received were Blueberry Muffin, Carrot Cake, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip. I will just tell you, these all taste exactly like their name. It’s amazing the taste for just have some fruit and nuts in them. I am telling you guys, these bars need to be a staple food in your life. Regardless if you are on a weight loss journey or not.  I will tell you my all time favorite LARABAR is the peanut butter and jelly. There are also some flavors that I haven’t been able to find in my local store that I am dying to try like the Lemon or the coconut cream pie.
