Healthy Breakfast Recipe- Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil {Giveaway}
I love Tropical Traditions products. I am so glad I was introduced to them. If you missed my first review of their Gold Label Coconut Oil please be sure to check it out. It rocks people! So when I was asked to do another giveaway I was thrilled. This time I am including a quick healthy breakfast recipe for you to try.

There are several benefits to using coconut oil. Check out my previous post on all the benefits of coconut oil I feel are important to me. Here is a great healthy breakfast recipe that even I can cook, sorta!
Healthy Breakfast Apples
Who doesn't love a good apple for breakfast.
1/2 cup of Chex Mix cereal or something like it crushed
1 apple chopped and cored (use green for more tart)
1/4 cup walnuts (optional but yummy)
1/2 chopped strawberries
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoon Gold Label Coconut Oil
Put the chopped apples, cinnamon, coconut oil, and cereal in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 30-45 seconds. Just enough to melt the coconut oil (if you have never used coconut oil it is white and sold in a cool state). Once melted and heated through add the walnuts and strawberries and enjoy.
What a quick healthy breakfast. This can be done in a flash in the morning or you can make a big batch of it the night before and take with you on the go. My son even loves this. For him I pick out the walnuts which is why I suggested it be optional.

LOVE Coconut oil – have found a bazillion uses for it! I even have a jar in my bathroom for taking off make-up (which I wear rather infrequently but still need to get it off!). Great post! And I’ll be back!
