Gift Ideas for a Health Nut
What do you get the person that is on a healthy path? Certainly not a box of chocolates. With the new year on the horizons there will be weight loss plans to consider and fitness gear to get. So if you know someone that will be making this one of their new years resolutions then give them a helping hand and consider a few of these awesome gift ideas.
BodyBugg
Who wouldn't a Body Bugg? Anyone that has seen Biggest Loser has fallen in love with one of these. We watch these average people go on this weight loss journey and lose a bizillion pounds in a short amount of time and they are seen with this thing on their arm. I have a few people I know that have one and do recommend this item. They say it's a reminder to keep on their diet plan and weight loss journey.
Kitchen Scale
I LOVE my kitchen scale. When I was on my diet plan I would always measure my food and package it accordingly. They have these cool digital scales out that makes it so easy to use.
Healthy Subscription Boxes
I have reviewed several monthly gift boxes and I haven't been disappointed with any of them. Conscious is a great box for us adults. It's a box stocked to the top with healthy products to help us live a better lifestyle. You just get so much product for $19.95/month. Healthy Surprise is another healthy box of goodies. For $33/month you can get full size snacks that are gluten free, vegan, and soy free. Can't go wrong with things all natural
Yoga
For the more limber people in your life, yoga items would be a good idea. You can get a pretty yoga mats that are fairly inexpensive and there are tons of yoga DVD's out there. If they have those items, think about a new sporty yoga outfit.
Cardio Equipment
Now if you are looking to get on the good side of this health nut, consider a treadmill or elliptical. I will KILL for a really decent elliptical. Although I think the elliptical is pure evil monster it's really great for my knees. This time of year you can get really great deals on cardio equipment. Check out places likes Sears, Amazon, or Ebay.
Gym Membership
You know you health nut has to have a gym membership right? If so, find out where they go and maybe pay for a month or two. You can also look into personal training sessions at their gym could cost. I am sure they would love that.
Free Weights
This you can't go wrong with. Your health nut can lift weights 24/7 if they want. I love the the adjustable weights you can get from places like BowFlex or Bayou. Just dial the weight and off you go. These can tend to be a bit pricey but any old pair of hand weights would work. I know I have some spots in my collection I would love to finish. Don't forget a small weight bench either.
Heart Rate Monitor
I have one of these bad boys and I LOVE IT. Not only does it help with my high blood pressure and keeping it in check but I love to see how hard I am working. There are several on the market so make sure you do some research before just getting any ole one. Polar and Timex are 2 very common brands. Mine is Polar and I would recommend getting one that doesn't take the heart rate on just the wrist. There are some that come with a chest strap which I think is more accurate.
Whatever you decide for your health nut make it something they can continue to use through out the new year. Each time they use that item they will know you cared enough about them to get them something that fits their lifestyle.

I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the structure of your site?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with
it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having
1 or 2 images. Maybe you could space it out better?
