Soy milk is also good for the skin because it is rich in vitamins and calcium. There are specific fruits that are also known to benefit and promote healthy skin. These fruits include strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. Blueberries are a definite favorite because they are filled with antioxidants that are great for anti-aging. Women and men who do not enjoy fine lines and wrinkles can indulge in blueberries and their skin will benefit from it.

Some of the best vegetables to consume are spinach, carrots, and sweet potatoes. Spinach is rich with vitamins including Vitamin E which is essential to the skin. Sweet potatoes are also rich with vitamins and are versatile. You can do a lot with a sweet potato. Carrots offer vitamins and nutrients that are not only important for sight but are also important for healthy skin. All of these vegetables can be paired with a main dish to create a healthy meal that will benefit the skin.

Turkey is full of protein and vitamins which are needed for healthy skin. Turkey is also a lower calorie meat which makes it a popular choice as a substitute for ground beef when making chilli, burgers, tacos, and more. Salmon is a type of fish that consists of fatty acids which are good for the skin. Salmon is not just good for the skin but is also good for the body. It is important to have some fish in your diet.

While eating these healthier foods that are good for skin, you should also watch what types of beverages you consume.

Water is the best decision to make when choosing a beverage. If you are looking to drink something with more flavor, green tea would be a great choice. Green tea is tasty and full of antioxidants that are good for skin. Studies prove that individuals who drink green tea age slower than those who do not consume green tea. Green tea can be purchased already made or you can make it yourself. Coffee and alcoholic beverages should be avoided as much as possible because they are not good for the skin.
