Halo Oral Antiseptic Review and #Giveaway

It's that time of year folks. Cold weather is here to stay and so are the colds. They seem to be popping up everywhere. My son has a stuffed up nose, hubby has a sore throat, I am staying in a bubble, and people at work are out sick. Help me!!! I need an IV of vitamin C stat! The good folks at Halo Germ Defense sent me some product to review and just at the right time.

About Halo

Halo oral antiseptic can help prevent airborne germs you may breathe in. What do you think happens to the germs people sneeze out? They can last hours in the air. Gross right?  With one spray of Halo directly into the mouth it will coat your throat and prevent any unwanted germs for up to six hours! Products for both kids and adults are available.

  • Halo is scientifically proven to kill 99.9 percent of infectious germs, including a broad spectrum of bacteria and viruses, such as comon cold virus, influenza and H1N1.
  • Halo Children's (for children age 2 and up) is available in grape.
  • Halo is alcohol, dye and sugar-free
  • Halo Adult is available in berry and citrus flavor

My Review

I think for the past 2 months someone in my house has been sick or at lease sneezing. I think I find myself using Halo at least once every 2 weeks.  Cooper is 5 and being at a daycare for roughly 10 hours a day he turns into a germ incubator. Getting a 5 year old to let them spray something in their mouth is a chore in itself but I managed to get him to let me. While he flinched at first he didn't think the flavor was bad but his throat "felt weird".

We got an adult citrus sample as well and my husband tried that. He thought it could have had a bit more citrus flavor but he thought overall it was better than most he has tired. I have to agree. It was better than others I have tired but could use more of an orange flavor to it. I suppose they can't put too much in it after all it is kinda a medicine.

The Giveaway

Halo is giving one lucky reader the chance to win an adult product (berry or citrus). Great time to have this in your medicine cabinet. US Residents only. Ends 11/20. Good Luck

  1. Something people complain about after trying Wen hair care products for the first time is that their hair feels incredibly greasy.
