Marzetti® Simply Dressed® Salad Dressing Review

When it comes to salad dressings I am extremely picky. I also don’t like a lot of the fat free dressing so being on a weight loss journey it’s hard to find some I like. So when choosing a dressing I go for a regular or even a light dressing. Calories are important I know but taste for dressing is even more important to me.I just make sure I watch the serving size.
I was thrilled to be able to review this fantastic dressing. I have always been a Marzetti fan but had never tried their Simply Dressed brand. I decided to step out of my Ranch box and choose their Greek Feta flavor. I have never been much of a greek fan but I adore feta. So it couldn’t be horrible right? And it wasn’t!

My Thoughts

I bought a lovely pre-made salad (pre-made always looks yummier) and was ready for lunch to roll around so I could dive in. I open the bottle of Greek Feta and dove my pinky down in the bottle. I wasn’t so sure at first. So I put my finger down to get a bit more and wow what a punch this makes. While it had that greek flavor, I love the feta flavor in this dressing even more. The texture wasn’t very lumpy but just enough to get a few flakes of feta here and there. This is a dressing I will for sure be buying again.

Marzetti Simply Dressed also come in Ranch, Caesar, Balsamic,Pomegranate, Strawberry Poppyseed, Ginger Sesame, Cole Slaw, and Champagne. Wow what a variety they have! The list is longer with their other salad dressing brands.

Recipe

Here is a recipe I love to make and it can be used with any of the Marzitti dressings:

1 box of pasta

1 package of grape tomatoes

1 green pepper

1 jar of your favorite Marzetti dressing

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese( feta would be good too)

Cook pasta as directed on box. Chop up the tomato and green pepper. Once pasta is cooked let cool. Then add your dressing, cheese, green pepper, and tomato. Let chill before serving.

Marzetti has a ton of other products and some great recipes you should try out. I am looking forward to trying their Old World Deviled Eggs that includes their cole slaw dressing.

Have you tried these dressings before? If you have I would love to hear how the other flavors are. I think my next adventure outside the box might be a nice fruit salad with the strawberry poppyseed.Do you have a recipe you can recommend? I am always looking for new recipes. If so please leave me a comment below. I love hearing from my readers.

With the holidays approaching these dressings would make a great stocking stuffer.
