The Oscar ceremony is over already, and we all know the winners at the moment. I must confess, I was a little bit disappointed when I didn’t find Leo Dicaprio’s name in the nominees’ list for his brilliant performance in Django Unchained… How many talented actors can we name who still don’t have this Academy Award? Guys, it’s high time to write essays or even diplomas concerning such breach of justice, how do you think? I bet you can name a dozen of names at least, can’t you? Mine are the following:

Leo DiCaprio

How many films did you watch with him in a leading role? I can call 10 at least. And though his first roles of a romantic hero in Romeo and Juliet or Titanic for example are difficult to call unforgettable and really cool, his characters in Inception or Shutter Island made me change my mind about him as an actor. And Django Unchained was a real shock! Well, Leo is not that young and naïve guy we all considered him to be 10 years ago. I respect his desire to work and try himself in diverse roles, and he is really good in it actually.

Johnny Depp

As they say, a talented person is talented in everything! I did hope that Jack Sparrow would bring Johnny Oscar in 2003, but… Yes, 3 Oscar nominations are worth something but anyway… Sorry, no words found to describe my indignation! This man is different in every role he takes. Yes, guys, it’s true! For example, when I watched Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, I didn’t recognized him at all! It wasn’t Johnny Depp, it was that crazy guy who went to Vegas with a friend to meet dozens of adventures on his way.

Jim Carrey

No comments, as they say! Jim’s performances are always brilliant and unforgettable for millions of people who watch his movies. Who of us does not remember his The Mask or Ace Ventura? We know him as a comic actor, but what would you say about his character in The Number 23 or Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind?

Two Golden Globes are definitely not enough to estimate the talent of this amazing actor. He was invited to the Oscars 2013 at least, thank you our generous Academy!

Well, what can I say? These three guys are my favorite ones, and it doesn’t mean that they are the only three who deserve Oscar but don’t have it. We all have our favorites, and we watch movies because of their magnificent performance! They are the best for us, and this is the most important thing, isn’t it?
