Finding clothes that your husband will wear that you like and he feels comfortable in can be a challenge. To assist you in helping your husband look the best while maintaining a good relationship, I will share my top five resources for finding clothes for my husband.

Local Consignment Shops

Perhaps one of the best places to get high quality clothes at a reasonable price is a local consignment shop. Many of these stores are small businesses, and if you get to know the owner, she or he can keep an eye out for the right size and style of clothes you are looking to purchase. High-quality pieces such as suits, coats and nice jeans are often available for great prices and in great shape at consignment stores.

Online Boutiques

Items such as tee-shirts are usually best bought new. Getting your husband some fun, cool shirts that he will like is a great way to get him excited (or at least compliant) with your fashion choices. Thrift Stores

Many thrift stores, especially those near big cities, offer gently-used, high-end clothing at deep discounts. Some stores even get new clothes from retailers that they have to move out to make room for a new season. For even stores that are well-picked-over in the women’s section, the men’s clothing section usually still has good deals to be found.

Department Stores

While this resource may seem obvious, make it easier on your man by having him spend the day with you trying several department store cuts and fits of various brands of pants. Keep the best brands and cuts written in your purse. With this info, you purchase new pants without struggling to know size and cut. Most department stores keep basic pants styles in stock, making last-minute replacement runs easy.

Online Shoe Retailers

If your husband is on his feet all day, he needs some good shoes. I usually shop for shoes online, and many of these retailers often have sales, as well as good return policies. When my husband knows the basics of what he wants, I can narrow down the search and let him choose from a couple of styles that I already have approved of. Most of these sites have great return policies in case of a bad fit.
