Buzz Away Review and Giveaway
Thank you to Quantum for allowing me to do this review and giveaway.
I was sent a nice pack of goodies of Buzz Awayproducts. I received the Buzz Away Extreme Spray, Buzz Away Towelettes, and the Citronella Candle.
This product is great for kids. Why?? It’s a natural product and well it isn’t greasy and it have a pleasant aroma to it. It is also DEET free. Ingredients:
Soybean Oil, Geranium Oil, Castor Oil, Purified Water, Coconut Oil, Glycerin, Citric Acid, Lecithin, Sodium Bicarbonate, Benzoic Acid. In a blend of Essential Oils of Wintergreen, Citronella, Cedarwood, Peppermint, and Lemongrass. (Patented base HOMS). Here are some other facts.
- Up to 4 Hour Protection from Mosquitoes
- Up to 2 1/2 hours Protection from Ticks
- The Buzz Away Extreme Formula repelled mosquitoes for up to 8.5 hours
in USDA test. - University of Guelph found the Buzz Away Extreme formula to be 92% effective after 3 hours (Compared to Off! Skintastic’s 79%).
My Experience
Here in Iowa we had lots of rain which leads to lots of mosquitoes, especially if you are by water. I used this product on myself and my son one day we were at the park. We were there for about 3 hours and he didn’t have one problem with mosquitoes bothering us like we normally would have. When I sprayed the repellent on me, I didn’t feel greasy like I have in the past with other products. It went on very light and smelled good. I would totally recommend this product to anyone but especially those with little ones. It’s a natural product so you can’t go wrong!

Okay now I’m wondering the same thing about their scar cream for reducing stretch marks!
Do you know the shelf life on these products? As well living in the NorthEast it’s getting COLD out but we’ll be needing this in the spring for sure!
Oh, I wonder if their scar reducing cream would help with stretch marks? I’d love to try that! Thanks for the giveaway 🙂

I emailed them and they said their shelf life is long, just keep it in a cool dry place.
I’d love to try the herbal skin crack cream. My skin gets so dry in the winter, and I’d love to try a more natural remedy.

Hey! Quick question that’s totally off topic. Do you know
how to make your site mobile friendly? My website looks weird when browsing from my
iphone 4. I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to resolve this problem.
If you have any suggestions, please share. Cheers!
