Blogging Ideas

I am always full of ideas so why not capitalize them. When I first wanted to start this blog I tried to think of what I wanted to talk about that was a priority in my life. Blogging IdeasI choose my top 3 which were family, health, and spirituality. Yes these are a wide range of topics but all I felt were important to address on this blog. When you start a blog it’s important to pick something you are passionate about.

Many people find blogging as a fun activity. I know I do. You can shout your voice so others hear you. Now, there are those who create blogs for serious reasons like making money. There are hundreds of income-generating opportunities that you can find online and paid blogging is one of them. I include affiliate links on my blog plus sell some ebooks I feel pertain to my niche.

However, it takes a lot of hard workto be successful. I have learned patience that is for sure. I am still new to all of this so I can’t say as of yet that I have been too successful. It is frustrating at times but in order to be successful you have to constantly put new content up on your site to keep your audienceinterested in coming back.  I am pretty organized with my content. I have several folders with content in them to use plus I set time aside each day to work on the site. I like to keep fresh content up daily. I schedule a lot of my posts. On the weekends I might spend 4 hours a day doing nothing but writing content and scheduling it to post during the week. I am still have a full time job and mommy duties at night, so it hard to get on each night to get content up for the next day. Organization is key.

How do I come up with what I put on the site? Well I will look at news sites to see what topics are being talking about. If I am crunched for time I will use some PLR articles or Ezine articles that are already written for me. You don’t want to do this everyday but it’s nice to have already written content available. I also ask people to guest blog on their experiences that might pertain to topics on my site. The easiest way to write content is just to write about personal experiences. Share with the world what you have gone through. I bet you they will relate to you.

Blogs can really be about anything but if you want to make money, narrow down what you want to talk about and stick to just that. Make sure you use keywords to get attention from search engines to get people to your site. Find affiliates that are topic related and that are trusted site.  Make sure your site isn’t just filled with link but good quality content and information. Then just wait patiently for people to come, comment, and start clicking on your links. If can be done.

Here are some super books that I keep on my desk and constantly refer to. I highly recommend them.

Known as the ‘bible’ of Affiliate Marketing, Rosalind Gardner’s Super Affiliate Handbook is a MUST-READ for anyone who wants to become an affiliate marketer.

Nicole Dean has some of the best PLR content on the web. I personally use her content.

The Complete Internet Marketing Moms Start Up Guide. This book is fantastic. I refer this this often. It has everything you need in 1 book.  From choosing a domain name to Twitter, you can’t go wrong with this guide.
