Help the Kids in Your Community Today!

Picture1You know those Wal-Mart commercials that do the price comparison? I had a friend do one and be featured in our area and they are the real deal. This summer Wal-Mart is partnering with Champions for Kids for the Summer of Giving Projects.

Simple Giving Project

SIMPLE Giving is a Champions for Kids program that makes it simple for you to donate items to help kids in your community. You can purchase items at your local Walmart and drop them in the donation bins after checkout. All of the donations go to children in the community where the Walmart store is located. From June 9 – July 1, visit the frozen food aisle of your local Walmart Supercenter to learn more about the Summer of Giving program and how you could possibly win one of three $25,000 awards for your local school district!

How you Can Help

Our current SIMPLE Giving program is taking place in over 3,000 Walmart stores across the United States, collecting school supplies for children in need. If your Walmart store is participating, simply purchase school and classroom supplies (such as backpacks, pencils, crayons, hand sanitizer, and soap) and place them in the donation bins at the front of the store.

Help the Kids in the Community

By visiting the frozen food section and purchasing selected items, you could help feed the kids in your community. From June 9 – July 1, visit the frozen food aisle of your local Walmart Supercenter to learn more about the Summer of Giving program and how you could possibly win one of three $25,000 awards for your local school district! Be a Champion for Kids!

I participated in this program on behalf of Campaign for Kids and The Motherhood.
