Chicken Soup for the Soup stories have been around for many years. Just when I think they have done a book about everything, they come out with a new one. I was thrilled to be able to review this book.
My Thoughts
Devotional Stories is an unique book but one that is outstanding. Each story come with a Bible passage, which is very different from their other books. I was able to read a story to my son and the bible passage related to it and talk about it. Grant you he is only 4 but he enjoyed some of the stories and made him ask questions he might not normally ask.
The stories in this book make you reflect on all you have in your life, things you can improve on, and well things you can change right in that moment. The chapter, Count Your Blessings really makes you do that. It was one of my favorite chapters in the book.
With the busy holiday season I didn’t have a chance to read this from cover to cover but I do highly recommend this book for everyone to read.
